Anne Hart (née Hill), OC (born 1935) is a Canadian author specialising in biographies. She is best known for ''The Life and Times of Miss Jane Marple'', her biography of the Agatha Christie character, and is a Member of the Order of Canada. ==Life and work== Ms. Hart received an arts degree from Dalhousie University and a library science degree from McGill University. She then started work with Newfoundland's Memorial University library in 1969 and made it her career until retirement in 1997.〔(Memorial University of Newfoundland President's Report 2007 )〕 Notable positions during her time at Memorial University included head of the Centre for Newfoundland Studies and Library Research Professor.〔(Memorial University of Newfoundland President's Report 2006 )〕 Ms. Hart was one of the 2009 Winterset Board of Directors.〔(Winterset in Summer Literary Festival website )〕
